AUSSCHREIBEN.DE is a leading platform for construction specification texts. More than 700 manufacturers provide product information used by architects, engineers and software partners in digital tendering workflows. As part of Orca Group, we are transforming the platform from a traditional product search solution into a data and integration platform for AI assistants and autonomous agents.

As an AI Software Engineer / QA (m/f/d), you build new features using modern AI coding agents while taking end-to-end ownership of their quality. You combine software engineering, test automation and AI evaluation to ensure our solutions remain reliable, secure and scalable.
Working closely with Product and Engineering, you help shape how AI-native software development is established across Orca Group.
  • Build new software features with AI coding agents, taking ownership of architecture, specifications, code reviews and final results.
  • Automate quality assurance through unit, API and end-to-end testing, including tools such as Playwright, and establish quality gates within CI/CD pipelines.
  • Evaluate AI-powered features such as semantic search, recommendations and tendering copilots, identifying hallucinations, errors and regressions.
  • Improve the quality and structure of specification texts and catalogue data for AI applications, semantic search and knowledge graphs.
  • Develop APIs and MCP servers that enable AI agents to access and use product and specification data reliably.
  • Ensure application security through automated security checks, vulnerability remediation and responsible handling of sensitive data.
  • Shape AI-native engineering standards and share best practices through our group-wide Engineering Hub.

Your profile

  • Build new software features with AI coding agents, taking ownership of architecture, 
  • You have at least 3 years of experience in software engineering or QA engineering, with strong skills in test automation and CI/CD.
  • You regularly work with AI coding agents such as Claude Code, Cursor or GitHub Copilot and know how to systematically validate their output.
  • You have hands-on experience with automated unit, API and end-to-end testing, test data, testing frameworks and CI pipelines.
  • You have experience evaluating LLM-based features or can quickly develop expertise in evaluation sets, LLM-as-judge and regression testing.
  • You are proficient in C#/.NET or another typed backend language and have working knowledge of TypeScript.
  • You understand APIs, REST/OpenAPI, SQL, search technologies and cloud environments; experience with MCP, Azure and security testing is an advantage.
  • You take ownership, care deeply about quality and enjoy collaborating with others. You have good German communication skills and C1-level English.
Additionally helpful: Experience with GAEB, VOB, construction specification texts, manufacturer product data or knowledge graphs.
