AUSSCHREIBEN.DE is a leading platform for construction specification texts. More than 700 manufacturers publish their products on our platform, which is used by architecture and engineering firms as well as numerous software partners for digital tendering workflows.

As part of Orca Group, we are continuously evolving our platform with new AI-powered features, modern APIs and interfaces for AI agents.
As a Product Analyst / Requirements Engineer (m/f/d), you connect customers, Product Management and Engineering. You understand user needs, translate them into clear use cases, specifications and acceptance criteria, and help ensure we build the right solutions.
You work AI-first, using AI tools for analysis, prototyping and specifications while providing our engineering teams with a clear functional foundation for development.

  • Analyze customer needs and user feedback, working with the Product Manager to translate insights into clearly defined features and functional requirements.
  • Develop use cases, user journeys and usage scenarios for manufacturers, architecture and engineering firms, and other platform users.
  • Create clickable prototypes using AI-powered prototyping tools such as Claude Design and validate new product ideas early with customers and internal teams.
  • Write precise product specifications, user stories and acceptance criteria, leveraging AI assistants to develop and refine requirements efficiently.
  • Define functional test scenarios and edge cases that provide Engineering with the foundation for automated testing and AI-assisted development.
  • Validate new features from the customer's perspective, ensuring they meet defined requirements and solve real user problems.
  • Connect Product, Support and Engineering, analyze complex functional customer issues and turn insights into well-qualified bug reports or new product requirements.

Your profile

  • You have at least 3 years of experience in a product-related role, such as Product Analyst, Business Analyst, Requirements Engineer, Product Owner or a Support/QA role with a strong product focus.
  • You have experience creating use cases, user stories, functional specifications and clear acceptance criteria.
  • You regularly use AI tools such as Claude or ChatGPT for research, analysis, documentation or prototyping and know how to critically validate their output.
  • You think analytically and systematically, can structure complex requirements clearly and approach problems with a solution-oriented mindset.
  • You have a solid technical understanding, can read API documentation, analyze data and collaborate effectively with engineering teams.
  • You are customer-focused, communicate clearly and ideally have experience with B2B software, SaaS products, prototyping or tools such as Jira and Azure DevOps.
  • You have C1-level German and B2-level English proficiency.

Additionally helpful: Knowledge of GAEB, VOB, AVA software or manufacturer product data, as well as experience with AI-powered features or API-based products.
